Robotic surgery becomes more and more popular worldwide. It happens due to well known advantages of robotic technologies. Console surgeons training remains one of the most controversial topics in the field. The most preferred training pro-gram includes such modules as simulation and virtual reality. We present a review of all commercially available simulators in the market. We conclude that the presence of surgical simulators in the training program is very useful and will lead to a decreasing learning curve of console surgeons. The cost aspect remains one of the main problem for introducing simulators into the training program.
